Good morning everyone! I hate to say this, but with the advent of college football season, and the fact that LSU (my husband's favorite team) playing a close game last night, PLUS the fact that I plum forgot to wash his work jeans....
Yes, that means it is 10:15 pm and I just put his jeans in the washer. It's going to be a long night. My father-in-law is coming into town today, so here's hoping I am awake when he gets here. If I have emailed you this post by 6 am, count yourselves lucky. It might be a rough morning over here.
I am trying to remember wise words in the Gospels, and I just came across Matthew 7:11, "If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!"
Today I am asking Him for the gifts of the spirit, especially patience and gentleness, and possibly for the opportunity to rest this afternoon.
For now I'll raise my cup of coffee (or two, or three) and pray and hopefully do a few jumping jacks and get my blood moving. I hope y'all have a wonderful morning. Be sure to let me know how I can pray for you today!
