What a week!
Has this week been rough or what? I know it has for me. Potty training regressions, what I call "the crud", and still trying to keep up with everything else.
All of that to basically say ...sorry I don't have the Abiding Fruit study up today. I have been up mostly on time, and praying for y'all, just haven't posted the study.
Anyway, next week is a brand new week! Hope y'all have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend. :)

Checking in
Hey y'all, sorry I missed yesterday's post. My little girl is sick and I was up but rushing around to make doctor's appts, etc, and to be honest the post completely slipped my mind (until dinner time, that is!).
I hope y'all all had a great and JOY-filled day. I hope today will be the same!
I need to pray for patience today (I know we are studying that in a few weeks but...) I have been feeling "on edge" and I don't like it.

JOY, day 1
Hey, sorry I got off-track last week. I didn't post Friday's post. Today we start a new week, hope it is a good one.
Psalm 16 is our study material this week.
Day 1: INITIAL READ/CONTEXT
With an expectant heart, read this week’s passage. Keep a pen and your journal handy. On this
initial read, simply write down anything that jumps off the page and ministers to your own heart.
If you are unfamiliar with the passage, look into the context of the verses. Why were these words
written? By whom, to whom?
Read the passage again. This time write down any questions you may have about the passage.
The purpose of the initial read is to get familiar with the text, not to answer all of your questions.
I kind of like the flowery language of the KJV. Off to study this and pray...will try to answer when y'all wake up! :) Have a great day!
Psalm 16 is our study material this week.
Psalm 19
1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
